Alternatively, head left out of The Esplanade and pick up the path to explore Pentire headland and the Gannel Estuary (taking care of the tides).

The Newquay Christmas Lights Switch On takes place on 28^th November when the town will come alive with sparkling illuminations, joyful live music, a Christmas market filled with local artisan gifts and treats, and a spectacular fireworks display over the bay.

Or take a trip to the Lost Gardens of Heligan for their enchanting Heligan Night Garden event, when the expansive grounds become a glowing wonderland of lanterns and lights.
