It’s the day we’ve all been waiting for, to finally be able to welcome all our lovely guests back to The Esplanade and to unveil our brand-new look. Our hardworking team have wasted no time while the hotel has been closed to guests; fresh décor, ramped-up services and awesome new spaces await, all with the backdrop of that unmistakable Fistral Beach view.

So, what’s new?

Inspired by our calming coastal surroundings, we’ve completely refurbished our bedrooms, communal areas and exterior for a refreshed, modern look.  We’re bringing the outside in with calming earth tones, warming tongue and groove wood panelling and ocean blues - echoing the ambience of our waterfront location and providing a truly indulgent and carefree hideaway for families, couples, and groups of friends.

With a focus on quality space and quality time, we’ve created bigger rooms, reducing from a total of 90 to 85 – ideal for bringing families and friends together.

Family values

Each family room will be stocked with snuggly dressing gowns for the kids (and the grown-ups), while bathrooms will be stocked with GAIA Skincare and children’s toiletries – perfect for a mini pamper session and lightening the load of packing. Little ones will still get their own build-my-bear furry companion to make and join them on their holiday adventure.

Our new babysitting service means parents can carve out some quality time away from the kids, while our new soft play and games area nearer to our new-look Cove Restaurant will help burn off some energy before mealtimes.

Not forgetting, of course, our brilliant outdoor pirate ship and sports court as well as our children’s parties, which now include a cinema package, for those special celebrations.

Just like the movies

We’ve struggled to contain our excitement over this one! Yes, we now have a fantastic boutique cinema room that will be showing family favourites throughout the day and early evening. This classic 30-seat cinema room, complete with a popcorn vending machine, is the perfect solution for keeping little ones entertained on rainy days or making the most of some “you time” in the hot tub, sauna or indoor heated pool.

EAT, drink and be merry

Our Cove Restaurant has a chic new look to go along with that unparalleled view of the surf. And with our flexible dining package, you can enjoy the location-inspired all-day menu on your own schedule, morning, noon or night.

Our brand-new Elements Cocktail Bar is an adults-only after dark haven. Sink into the sumptuous plump chairs and tantalise your tastebuds with a delectable hand-picked cocktail while the twinkle of live music fills the air.

From 4pm until 7pm, all are welcome in the bar, with hot and cold soft drinks accompanying our cocktail and wine menus. Direct access to the outside decking, play area and sports court mean grown-ups can unwind – drink in hand – while the children play in the fresh sea air.
