On 25th and 26th July 2026, the UK Surf & Skate Expo takes over Newquay for a full-throttle weekend of boards, creativity and community from the beach to the skatepark.

For one lucky winner (and a mate), it’s the ultimate coastal escape. Wake to sound of waves in your sea-view room, take in the view of Fistral Beach over breakfast, then dive into surf and skate culture around Newquay, before spending relaxing evenings back at the hotel.

What’s on for 2026

The UK Surf & Skate Expo spreads across Newquay, Cornwall, popping up in beach, park and village spaces for two packed days of action.

The Expo Village is a buzzing 7,000-square-metre hub at the heart of it all. Discover surf brands and shapers, skateboarding, lifestyle and wellness spaces, live demos, and plenty of great food and drink.

Just a short stroll away, The Log Jam at Great Western Beach will be hosting the invite-only Log Jam longboard contest. (The beach is free to enter)

A playground for skaters, BMX riders and scooter enthusiasts, the Concrete Waves Skate Park offers street elements, a deep transition bowl and snake run. Over the weekend, expect skate jams, demos, contests, live music, giveaways and all-round good energy. (The skatepark is free to enter)

Right in the centre of the Village, the custom-built Expo Ramp halfpipe is where skateboard and BMX demos come alive.

Between sessions, catch talks from surfers, skaters, campaigners and brand owners, plus extra events including the Wind and Foil Show, Wavelength UK Surfer Awards on Friday, European Surf Film Festival on Saturday, Rising Tide Festival and the Out of Office Marketing & Business Growth conference.

When the day winds down, swap the crowds for calm back at The Esplanade: dip into the swimming pool, add on dining in Cove Restaurant, and enjoy a nightcap in our ocean-view lounge.
