Our family-friendly Cove Restaurant at The Esplanade Hotel makes eating out with children feel easy. Enjoy delicious all-day dining, a dedicated kids’ menu and plenty to keep little ones happy while you settle in and enjoy front-row views across Fistral Beach.
At Cove Restaurant, children let off steam in the soft play area directly opposite while parents unwind over brunch, lunch or dinner, knowing there is space for everyone to enjoy their time by the coast.
Afternoon tea for all
Served daily from 1pm to 4pm, our afternoon tea is a lovely way to pause after a morning on the beach or an afternoon in the pool. Tuck into sweet and savoury treats together as you watch the waves roll in.
As well as an adults’ afternoon tea, we offer a special kids’ afternoon tea menu, so younger guests can enjoy their own child-friendly selection while still feeling part of the occasion.
Easy family dining in Newquay
Whether you are joining us for a weekday brunch, a leisurely lunch or a relaxed evening meal, Cove fits easily around family plans. It is an ideal stop before the beach, after a coastal walk, or as a simple way to round off a day in Newquay together.
Not staying at the hotel? You are still very welcome to join us. Cove Restaurant is open to non-residents, whether you are dropping in for coffee and cake, meeting friends for lunch, or making a family day of it with a swim in the indoor pool before sitting down to eat.
