Christmas is a time for laughter and festive cheer and at The Esplanade Hotel it really is no different! This year we are pulling out all the stops to create a festive coastal wonderland for the whole family to enjoy whilst celebrating Christmas on the coast. With cosy accommodation, festive food and drink, live entertainment, free family activities and ocean views all included, why go anywhere else?

Think stormy sea-watching and bracing coastal walks, festive fun and games including ginger bread decorating and design-your-own hot chocolates at the hot chocolate bar for the little nippers, live music in the evenings, delicious seasonal dining with all the trimmings and of course lots of Christmas spirit!   • 23rd December

    3pm | For those on a four-night break, arrive to a warm welcome for the start of the celebrations!
    4pm | Christmas Ornament Making
    6pm |Start your festive getaway with lots of Christmas cheer. Join us for a drinks reception in Elements Bar
    6.30 - 8pm| Enjoy a delicious dining experience in our Cove Restaurant
    8pm | Caricatures with cassie
    8.30PM | Live entertainment

  • Christmas Eve | 24th December

    Eat, drink and be merry on Christmas Eve…

    7.30am – 10am | Start your day with a hearty Cornish breakfast.Why not take a coastal stroll around Pentire Headland, and take in the fresh Cornish sea air or head to Fistral Spa for a soothing spa treatment?
    1 - 2.30pm | Tuck into a delicious Cream Tea, enjoying those sea views again in Cove Restaurant
    3pm | Games in Elements Bar with bingo and board games
    4pm | Get ready for the arrival of Santa and his reindeers by making some reindeer treats and 'stop here Santa' signs so he knows where to find you on Christmas Day
    4pm | Christmas Movie
    4.45pm | Magaic Show
    5.30pm | Get into the Christmas Eve spirit with a warming hot punch reception
    6.30pm – 8pm | Enjoy a delicious Christmas Eve dinner full of festive delights
    8.30pm | Live music to keep you entertained as the big day approaches

  • Christmas Day | 25th December

    Santa’s coming… and we are celebrating all day with festive treats!

    7.30am – 10am | Start your Christmas Day with a delicious Cornish breakfast and a chance to show off your Christmas jumpers
    11.00am | Champagne cocktails are served as we toast Christmas Day in style, followed by a visit from the man himself, as Santa brings gifts for all
    From 12.45pm | Sumptuous traditional Christmas Lunch is served with a side of, yes, you guessed it, sea views!
    3pm | Join us to watch the King's Christmas Day speech
    5.30pm | Join us for a fun afternoon with our festive family bingo in our Elements Bar
    7pm - 8:30pm | After an afternoon of relaxing, we continue the Yuletide celebrations with a tempting Christmas Buffet
    8.30pm | It’s Christmas party time with live entertainment and lots of Christmas spirit. Party hats optional…

  • Boxing Day | 26th December

    The celebrations continue… relax, unwind and enjoy

    7.30am – 10am | Awake to the sound of the ocean and enjoy another delicious Cornish breakfast
    12pm | Take a brisk sea dip to refresh the body, awakening a sense of vitality in the crisp ocean waters
    1.00pm - 2:30pm | Our festive Afternoon Tea is served in Cove Restaurant
    3.30pm | Bring the family together, get cosy and take in our afternoon festive film
    4pm | Grab the icing and sprinkles for gingerbread decorating
    From 6pm | A delightful dinner will be served in the Cove Restaurant
    8.30pm | Party time with more live entertainment and festive cheer to mark the end of the Christmas celebrations.

  • 27th December

    7.30am – 10am | Awake to the sound of the ocean and enjoy another hearty Cornish breakfast
    11am | Check out and head home full of fond memories of your extra-special stay at The Esplanade…
